The driving course may be taken by a foreigner who has been staying in Poland for at least 6 months, has a document confirming legal stay in Poland (e.g. residence card, visa) and is registered for permanent or temporary residence. With these documents you will receive a PKK number, which is the only document required by the driving school.

In order to create a driver candidate profile you must submit:

• an application for issuance of the driving license,an application for issuance of the driving license
• a Polish/EU ID card or passport of the country of origin
• residence card/residence visa or another document that confirms that you have been staying on the territory of Poland for more than 185 days
• a clear, current, color photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm)
• a medical certificate proving that there exist no health or mental impediments to dive a vehicle
• written consent of a parent/legal guardian in the case of people under 18 years of age

If we have all of the above information, the next step is to go with the above - mentioned documents to the Motor Vehicle Department (Wydział Komunikacji) in the City/District Hall appropriate for your place of residence.

The state theoretical exam can be taken in English, at no extra charge. All you have to do is pay the exam fee of PLN 50 and you can choose the language of your choice at the exam. At the exam you have 32 single-choice questions, randomly selected from a database of questions.
The state practical exam costs PLN 200. If you want to take the exam in English, a sworn translator must be present at the exam. This is an additional cost. If necessary, we will provide you with the contact details of a sworn translator.
